Mountaineers in the NFL: Week 9

Tavon Austin (Rams, WR): Austin was targeted just twice, catching one of those passes for 17 yards in the Rams’ 13-10 loss to the Panthers.

Will Clarke (Bengals, DE): Bye week.

KJ Dillon (Texans, SS): Bye week.

Najee Goode (Eagles, LB): Goode finished with three tackles as Philadelphia suffered its second straight defeat with a 28-23 loss at the Giants, falling into last place in the NFC East.

Bruce Irvin (Raiders, LB): Irvin had one tackle as Oakland improved to 7-2 and is in sole possession of first place in the AFC West following a 30-20 win over Denver.

Adam Jones (Bengals, CB): Bye week.

Karl Joseph (Raiders, SS): Joseph Despite getting beat on one Denver touchdown and not recording a tackle, Joseph and the Raiders are 7-2 after a 30-20 win against the Broncos. He was one of five Oakland players to play on all of the defensive snaps.

Nick Kwiatkoski (Bears, LB): Bye week.

Pat McAfee (Colts, P): McAfee averaged 55.5 yards per punt – including a long of 67 yards – during the Colts’ 31-26 victory at the Packers.

Charles Sims (Buccaneers, RB): Sims is on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Geno Smith (Jets, QB): Smith is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Wendell Smallwood (Eagles, RB): The rookie running back was a team captain during Philadelphia’s 28-23 loss at New York. He finished with 25 rushing yards – highlighted by a 19-yard first down run – while adding 50 return yards.

Quinton Spain (Titans, OG): Spain will be sidelined 3-4 weeks with a hyperextended knee and bone bruise.

Keith Tandy (Buccaneers, CB): Tandy recorded one tackle in Tampa Bay’s 43-28 loss to Atlanta. The Buccaneers are now 0-4 at home this season.

J.T. Thomas (Giants, LB): Thomas is out for the season with torn ligaments in his left knee.

Kevin White (Bears, WR): Placed on injured reserve with a fractured left fibula and a high ankle sprain. White is eligible to return week 13.

Daryl Worley (Panthers, CB): Worley tallied five tackles as Carolina recorded a 13-10 win at Los Angeles.
