Michael Beller (Sports Illustrated) – WVU is a No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region, facing No. 13 seed Nevada in the first round. If the Mountaineers win, they face the winner of Notre Dame/UNC Wilmington in the Round of 32.

Joe Lunardi (ESPN) – WVU is a No. 4 seed in the East Region, facing No. 13 seed Vermont in the first round. If the Mountaineers win, they face the winner of Virginia/UNC Wilmington in the Round of 32.

Shelby Mast (USA Today) – WVU is a No. 4 seed in the East Region, facing No. 13 seed Vermont in the first round. If the Mountaineers win, they face the winner of Minnesota/Nevada in the Round of 32.

Jerry Palm (CBS Sports) – WVU is a No. 4 seed in the South Region, facing No. 13 seed Monmouth in the first round. If the Mountaineers win, they face the winner of Notre Dame/Nevada in the Round of 32.
